Does this need a vet tonight, today, or not yet?

Type what you are seeing. The answer comes from the emergency pages, with the source.

Pick the animal and type what you are seeing, or tick it from the list. The answer is the same one the emergency pages give, with the same explanation and the same source: drive now, call today, or write it down and watch. It does not diagnose anything, and when nothing matches it says so.

How the tiers work

Now means an animal that may not survive the wait: drive, or call the emergency clinic while someone else drives. Today means a phone call for an appointment today, not next week. Watch means it is not an emergency: note when it started and how often, and raise it at the next visit. The 79 signs here are the ones on the six emergency pages, which give the vet sources for each. If you are unsure which tier something is, call: that call is free and takes a minute.

Poison is its own case. The calculators give the dose for chocolate, xylitol and grapes against the weight, and the poison lines are on every page.
